Before the polymerization of super absorbent polymer powder, workers need to use activated carbon to remove the polymerization inhibitor. In this process, nitrogen is mostly used for oxygen treatment. During production, if the initiator uses an oxidation-reduction composite system, the activity of the material will be greatly reduced, and the temperature requirements for the outside world will be relatively low. The products produced by this process are also relatively poor in color. But the purity of the finished product is relatively high.
During the granulation of super absorbent polymer powder, a large granulator is mainly used to carry out granulation work, and lubrication work should be done well in this process, so a surfactant solution is needed. It should be noted that suitable active agent varieties need to be used in the production work, and at the same time, the dosage of the whole process should be strictly controlled.
The super absorbent polymer powder material produced by the above process will have a water absorption rate of about 500 to 700 times. If a higher water absorption rate is required, subsequent processing work is required. At this stage, the commonly used method is mainly to change the amount of cross-linking agent, and there is no need to make corresponding changes to other production processes and production processes. By adjusting the amount of crosslinking, the properties of the material can be greatly improved.
