2. Experimental analysis

(1) The special polypropylene fiber for this kind of non-woven sanitary materials must have its own characteristics suitable for non-woven technology and hygienic standards. It is required that the fiber has good thermal bonding performance, low crystallization, low order state, low strength and high elongation, and good carding performance. The key to solving the above problems is to control the parameters such as pre-drawing ratio, spinning speed, and setting in the spinning process. By changing the performance of the oil agent, the fiber has the properties of water absorption and water repellency, and meets the standards in terms of hand feel and hygiene indicators.

(2) In the thermal bond nonwoven carding process, reasonable control of the carding degree of fibers and the use of fibers with low specific resistance are beneficial to the high-speed web-forming process.

(3) The speed of thermal bond nonwoven significantly affects the thermal bonding effect and selecting fine denier fibers is an effective way to improve the drape of nonwovens.

(4) The water permeability of thermal bond nonwoven for hygiene depends on the fiber spinning process, and the contribution of fiber strength to the strength of thermal bond nonwoven is not the main one. The strength of thermal bond nonwoven is a reflection of a comprehensive index.
